Perth Airport acknowledges the Noongar people as the traditional owners of the land on which the airport is located.
Noongar activity in the Perth area dates back approximately 38,000 years ago and, as a company we appreciate the connection that local Indigenous elders have to this land.
In recognition of this connection we undertake a range of cultural initiatives each year. Initiatives we have supported this year include cultural awareness talks to children attending the Perth Airport School Planting program, support for NAIDOC Week celebrations, and continued sponsorship of the Scholarship Program supported by Edith Cowan University.
Perth Airport is committed to the importance of these relationships throughout the year.
