Perth Airport has shown strong passenger growth on the back of a strong Western Australian economy with high disposable incomes and a greater propensity to travel, bringing rich opportunity to airport retailers.
The current growth is also reflective of increased capacity of new and existing airlines, with notable growth in the Australian outbound leisure traveller and the South East Asian inbound traveller markets.
With the Western Australian economy projected to enter another boom phase, demand for air travel and airport retail services are expected to rise even further.
To accommodate this growth and provide even better services for passengers and retail concessions, Perth Airport is investing up to $500 million over the next three years to redevelop terminals and public access infrastructure.
Leasing Opportunities
Perth Airport invites expressions of interest from quality retailers who have a focus on a high standard of service, product and presentation.
To be considered for a retail site at Perth Airport, interested parties will be required to successfully demonstrate:
- A positive trading background in the retail industry, ideally in an airport environment; and
- The capacity and resource to comply with all legislated, statutory, and legal requirements for operating a retail concession within an Airport environment.
