1.    I'm flying to the East Coast for business for a couple of days.  Where is the best place for me to park/where should I park at Perth Airport?

Perth Airport's covered FASTtrack Parking is ideal for business travellers, and conveniently located right in front of the Domestic Terminals (T2 & T3).

SHORTterm Parking is a good option for shorter stays, also located a short walk from the Domestic Terminals (T2 & T3).

2.    My fiance and I are planning a holiday in Bali.  What is the best alternative to park our car?

Perth Airport's LONGterm Parking is the best option for longer stays and for travellers with a tighter budget.  A free shuttle bus operates every ten minutes between the terminal and the car park.

3.    Do I need to pre-book a bay in the LONGterm car park?

All car parks at Perth Airport are operated on a "first come, first served" basis, so there is no need to pre-book a bay.  Simply follow the road signage indicating the car park area of your choice.

4.    Where can I park my motorcycle at Perth Airport?

You can park your motorcycle in the car park area of your choice.  Motorcycles must be parked within dedicated parking bays.  For more information on the different parking options, please click here.

5.    Can I stop to pick up or drop off a passenger at the terminal forecourt?

There is a dedicated passenger pick up/drop off lane at the front of the terminals.  For security reasons, vehicles collecting or dropping off passengers at the front of the terminals must be attended at all times.  Any vehicle left unattended will be subject to an immediate fine and may be towed.  Attended vehicles can only remain in the pick up/drop off area for a maximum of two minutes.

Alternatively, SHORTterm Parking located right at the front of the terminals is an affordable and very convenient way of dropping off and picking up passengers.

6.    Can I park in a disabled parking bay if my passenger has injured his leg and requires assistance?

Unless you hold a valid ACROD parking permit, you are not permitted to do so.  Unauthorised parking in areas designated for people with disabilities is considered as a serious offence.

7.    If my passenger's flight is delayed, can I wait in the car in the pick up/drop off area for him/her to arrive?

For security reasons, vehicles collecting or dropping off passengers at the front of the terminals must be attended at all times.  Any vehicle left unattended will be subject to an immediate fine and may be towed.  Attended vehicles can only remain in the pick up/drop off area for a maximum of two minutes.

8.    Can I stop in a bus zone if there are no buses waiting?

Parking restrictions at Perth Airport are in place to ensure both the safety and security of all visitors and the efficient operation of the airport.  Private vehicles are permitted to stop in front of the terminals only at the specifically designated pick up and drop off zones.  Stopping or parking your vehicle in a space specifically dedicated for buses can cause dangerous situations and is considered as a traffic offence.

If you are picking up or dropping off a passenger, please use the dedicated pick up/drop off lane at the front of the terminals or the SHORTterm car park.

9.    Am I allowed to stop on Brearley Avenue, Horrie Miller Drive or other airport roads?

For a number of safety and security reasons, you will find that all airport roads are designated as 'No Parking' or 'No Stopping' zones.  These zones are in place to assist with the prevention of vehicular collisions.

10.    Why are the parking restrictions so strict at Perth Airport?

Parking restrictions at Perth Airport are in place to ensure both the safety and security of all visitors and the efficient operation of the airport.  Security requirements at all Australian airports have been upgraded by the Federal Government since the increase of terror-related events around the world, which includes the limitation of vehicle access in front of the terminals.

Parking is restricted along main roads, such as Brearley Avenue and Horrie Miller Drive, to ensure the safe movement of all traffic and to maintain clear access for emergency vehicles.
