Whatever the reason for your next trip to T3 or T4, it’s important to note that from 17 January 2017, Brearley Avenue will be closed to airport traffic.
When this happens, the most effective route to access T3 and T4 - for traffic using Tonkin Highway and Great Eastern Highway eastbound - will be via Tonkin Highway and the new Dunreath Drive interchange.
Westbound traffic on Great Eastern Highway will access T3 and T4 via the recently upgraded intersection at Great Eastern Highway and Fauntleroy Avenue. This intersection will also continue to provide access to the General Aviation precinct at the airport.
New directional signage has already been installed on all major airport routes to raise awareness of the changes.
Please plan ahead, allow plenty of time for your journey and follow the signage to avoid unnecessary delays.
Why is Brearley Avenue closing?
Brearley Avenue is being closed between First Street and Dunreath Drive to make way for construction of the new Belmont Station that is being built as part of the State Government’s Forrestfield-Airport Link, opening in 2020.
