Perth Airport is pleased to announce that the purpose-built Officeworks Perth Customer Fulfilment Centre, located in the Airport South precinct, has achieved a 4-star Green Star Design & As Built v1.3 rating.

Perth Airport Chief Property Officer Dan Sweet said that this certification reflects Perth Airport's ongoing commitment to sustainable development, ensuring all new infrastructure meet industry standards.

By cultivating a strong relationship with our valued property partner Officeworks we’ve delivered a state-of-the-art 15,000sqm site that has modernised their supply chain while delivering tangible sustainability outcomes.

“As part of our Environment, Sustainability, People and Governance Strategy, we focus on developing and managing responsible, sustainable developments, and it is great to see our property portfolio grow under this commitment.

“Some of the project’s key initiatives, included the installation of a 100kW rooftop solar PV system, provision for future installation of EV chargers, water-efficient fixtures, and a highly efficient lighting system.

“These efforts not only reduce the building's environmental impact but also contribute to long-term operational efficiency and cost savings for the tenant.”

Officeworks Property Development Manager Andrew Heffernan said that relocating the Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) to our most advanced CFC at Perth Airport was a strategic investment in transforming and modernising our supply chain.

“Additionally, Perth Airport's property estate strongly resonates with our sustainability ambitions, fostering an environment that aligns to our long-term People and Planet Positive commitments, said Mr Heffernan.
