05 June, 2025

Following the successful launch of TransNusa’s daily service in March, the airline has announced from 18 July, they will commence operating a double-daily service between Perth and Denpasar.

Perth Airport’s Chief Commercial and Aviation Officer Kate Holsgrove has welcomed the announcement that TransNusa will double the frequency of its Perth- Bali services.

“The increased frequency provides more travel options for West Australians to visit our favourite holiday destination and is  a testament to the strength of this market and popular route.

“Currently we have 40,000 Indonesian visitors come to Western Australia each year, and with more direct and affordable options there is significant opportunity to grow our inbound business and leisure visitation from one of our closest neighbours.

“TransNusa will operate the services on its Airbus A320 – and will result in TransNusa providing more than 250,000 seats on this popular route per year.”

“We look forward to working with the TransNusa team as they increase their capacity into Perth,” said Ms Holsgrove.

TransNusa Group CEO Datuk Bernard Francis said TransNusa has plans to further strengthen and enhance its offerings to passengers in a bid to increase passengers’ comfort on all its flights

“The move to enhance our customer comfort is part of our plan to grow TransNusa as a secure and caring brand in line with our Premium Service Carrier status,” Datuk Francis explained

TransNusa will be utilising its Airbus A320 that has a seat capacity of 174 for this international route that has a 3 hours and 40 minutes flight duration.
