While we aim to find the best candidates to become part of our team, you’ll find our recruitment and selection process quite straight forward. The process involves:
Submit your resume
In order to register your interest for a position at Perth Airport, you will need to submit your resume as the first step.
Invitation to interview
If you are shortlisted for a role, you may be invited to attend a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager and a human resources representative so we can get to know you, your background and your suitability for the role.
Following the initial interview, you may be invited to attend a second interview so we can find out more about you and your suitability for the role you are applying for. This will generally involve meeting with a different manager within the role’s business area.
For some positions, you may be required to undertake a psychometric test and/or a pre-employment medical if you have applied for a position that requires you to be physically fit to perform your duties. Our human resources representative will discuss this process with you prior to you being invited for tests.
You will be asked to provide relevant and current referees who we can contact to get comment on your skills and experience. The referees will be contacted by a human resources representative and asked a range of questions about your ability to meet the requirements of the position.
Offer of employment
If you are successful, you will be offered the opportunity to join the Perth Airport team and be provided with a contract of employment.
Due to the security restrictions of working at an Australian airport, Perth Airport requires every team member to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). This is part of the work related requirements and will need to be obtained in your first six months of employment. Our human resources team will help you obtain your ASIC once you begin employment.
