The best of beef: where to get a taste of the WA South West's Harvey Beef at Perth Airport

A 140km drive south of Perth is the farming town of Harvey. Western Australia's remote and pristine natural environment makes it the perfect place for the best quality beef to be produced. Go all out and order the Harvey Beef Burger, so popular that it's available at two of our outlets; Harvest Food Store at T1 International and Three Bears at Terminal 3. Here it's served with beetroot (as an Aussie burger should be!), melted Margaret River cheddar, crunchy slaw and hot fries.

Head to Loco Poco at T1 International, upstairs past security, and you'll find some hearty hot plates among their array of Mediterranean, tapas-style menu options. Get the Beef Cheeks and taste some of the best beef from the Great Southern Region’s pristine Stirling Ranges.

Or, if you're lucky enough to be flying out of the newly reno'd Terminal 3, you could also try Blackwood Beer & Wine's Trio of Sliders, made with prime Harvey Beef and served with homemade Blackwood pepper berry relish in an artisan brioche bun, with a side of bush tomato crunchy coleslaw and blue cheese dressing. We're fans!

Craving a big, juicy steak? Hit Three Bears up for their Prime Harvey Beef 250g Scotch Fillet Steak, topped with your choice of mustard or chilli butter, and served with potato rosti and fresh salad.

A crowd favourite, also on offer at Blackwood Beer & Wine, is the Tuscan Style Meatballs, made with delicious Harvey Beef, native thyme and a rich tomato sauce.
