Shark Bay is home to 10% of the world’s dugong population. They can be found peacefully grazing on seagrass meadows. Head further out to sea and be amazed by humpback whales. These majestic creatures migrate up the coast to their calving grounds in the Kimberley and then return with their calves where they rest and play in the area’s calm protected waters. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a scenic flight over Francois Peron National Park, the Zuytdorp Cliffs, Dirk Hartog Island, and the salt lakes at Useless Loop. Finally, don’t miss an afternoon on Shell Beach. This snow-white beach is made up entirely of tiny shells and stretches for more than 70km.
