Where to try the best of our very own WA homegrown produce at Perth Airport

We're all about celebrating Western Australia's top-notch fresh produce and talented artisan suppliers here at Perth Airport. So next time you fly, know you can kick off your adventures with quality, delicious food - full of our great state's local ingredients - before you hit the sky.

TERMINAL 1 INTERNATIONAL

Burger lovers should head to Harvest Food Store to try their mouth-watering Harvey Beef Burger, jam packed with beef raised in WA’s pristine pasturelands, caramelised onion, spiced tomato relish and fresh salad. Another local pick here is the Crisp West Australian Pork Belly, sourced from Linley Valley Pork in the Great Southern Region, served alongside freshly made apple fennel slaw. Yum…!

If you’re in need of a good feed, swing by The Crafty Swan Kitchen & Bar on the ground floor and tuck into their Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, featuring free-range chicken from down south in Mt Barker, red cabbage slaw, pickles and golden fries.

Among Loco Poco's array of tapas style menu options, you’ll also find hearty hot plates like Beef Cheeks slow cooked in sherry and served with creamy potato mash, starring beef from the pristine pasturelands of the Stirling Ranges. Or Lamb Shanks featuring lamb nurtured in Margaret River’s unspoilt landscape.

They’ll go down all too well with a local Howard Park ‘Flint Rock’ Shiraz or a Vasse Felix Chardonnay.

Pre-flight pizza is always a top choice and you’ll be glad to know Long Neck Public House's pizza bases are all handmade on site using flour made from WA grains and milled in Byford, just 40km away. Pair a Hot Chorizo or good ol’ classic Hawaiian Pizza with an ice-cold Little Creatures’ Elsie or Rogers Ale from Freo and you’ll be a happy traveller.

Simply after a pick-me-up coffee? You must head to Juice & Bean Co to try the popular Northbridge Coffee Roasters’ ‘Rewind’ blend, made to taste with (or without!) fresh WA Masters dairy milk. It’ll go super well with a warmed-up Nutella Doughnut from Macchinetta, freshly delivered from our favourite Italian patisserie, Dolcetto in North Perth.

6000 Acres is renowned for celebrating the world-class produce of our abundant 6000 post code region by showcasing long-standing favorite local artisans like Michael Brothers’ Cold Pressed Juices and award-winning Five Senses Coffee, a Perth favourite brew that doesn’t disappoint. On their brekky menu you’ll find yum as Hollandaise Eggs, featuring eggs sourced nearby in the Swan Valley, and a Turkish Breakfast served with fresh stoned baked artisan bread from Turkish Bakeries, a family-run bakery in Perth’s Victoria Park.

Morning commuters can also kick start the day with Long Neck Public House's Tropical Smoothie Bowl, wholesomely packed with Coastal Crunch Lupin Granola that’s made with legendary West Aussie grown lupins from the Wheatbelt Region.

TERMINAL 1 DOMESTIC

Those just after a light snack can head to Toby's Estate at T1 Domestic. It might very well be known for its specialty coffee roast (of which they have a locally roasted blend, Black Swan, exclusively for us west coasters), however they also have locally-sourced menu choices. Enjoy a fresh muffin baked in Perth suburb Palmrya or pick from a selection of gourmet pies, which come served with crisp salad leaves sourced via Canning Vale’s Freshcorp Farms, who work direct with local farmers.

Heading off early? Tuck into Long Neck Public House's flavourful Eggs Benedict, featuring fresh eggs sourced from Golden Egg Farms, who has seven egg farms across WA. Their Tropical Smoothie Bowl full of WA lupins is also a great option for domestic travellers.

TERMINAL 3

Blackwood Beer & Wine at the newly reno’d Terminal 3 ensures you don’t have to leave the airport to discover an authentic taste of WA. From divine Margaret River cheeses and award-winning wines (a Cheese Platter & glass of Vasse Felix Blanc de Blanc anyone?), to the finest freshly baked artisan loaves and quality beef sustainably raised in the rolling hills of the Great Southern Region, you’ll be sure left satisfied before you board.

Terminal 3’s Three Bears has partnered with local brewers Cheeky Monkey, Gage Roads, Eagle Bay and Nail Brewery to offer passengers a taste reflective of the lifestyle enjoyed by us locals. Any of these will go perfectly with their Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Burger, featuring chicken from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills and Margaret River cheddar, or their Cheeky Monkey Beer Battered Fish, which they get in fresh from Albany.

Head over to Gibson + Giles for a selection of locally baked gourmet pies and fresh muffins, coffee made from beans roasted up the road at Welshpool or keep that health kick in check with a local thirst quenching Roogenic Iced Tea.
