Perth Airport Terminal 1 International is our biggest and busiest terminal, servicing all international flights. With clearly marked facilities and helpful signage throughout the building, it’s designed to make your visit as smooth sailing as possible.
This Terminal guide outlines everything you need to know to navigate Perth Airport Terminal One confidently, whether heading away for work or on your next independent adventure, a trip with friends, romantic rendezvous or fun-filled family holiday.

What to expect at T1 International
Perth Airport T1 International has four levels: Ground Floor, First Floor, Second Floor and Third Floor. Travelators and lifts are positioned throughout the terminal building, so making your way through the airport is straightforward.
Here’s what you’ll find on each level:
Ground Floor
The check-in area and bag drop are located on the Ground Floor, along with several retailers, travel essentials and a few restaurants. These are all located before passport control and security for easy access by passengers and visitors.
Other Ground Floor facilities and services
You’ll also find baggage storage and wrapping by Smart Carte, a kids’ play space at Jamaica Blue and a service animal relief area.
First Floor
Along with the food precinct at Terminal 1 that offers restaurants, cafes and retailers, you can also find sleeping pods by Smart Carte, on the First Floor. This area is accessible to passengers and the public.
Second Floor
Several airport lounges are located on the Second Floor, including the Aspire Lounge near gate 53, Air New Zealand Lounge near gate 52 and Singapore Airlines Lounge near gate 52 . Additional duty-free shopping and retail outlets for departing passengers can also be found here.
Third Floor
The public observation deck and vending machines are located on the Third Floor.

Accessibility and inclusivity at T1 International
At Perth Airport, we’re committed to accommodating travellers who may need additional support while on the move. The following facilities and services are available:
Sensory Room
Neurodivergent passengers can book a free one-hour time slot in our Sensory Room, a tranquil space with soft lighting and furnishings, sensory-seeking accessories and reduced noise levels.
Bins4Blokes
Several Bins4Blokes disposal containers are available across the terminal building for travellers with permanent or temporary incontinence.
Accessible Change Rooms
For travellers unable to use standard accessible toilets, Changing Places facilities are available consisting of a shower, ceiling hoist, adult-sized change table and privacy screen.
Social Stories
Together with The Autism Association of Western Australia, we’ve developed Social Stories™ to help make travel less stressful for passengers on the spectrum.
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program
Our Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program staff wearing ‘I support the Sunflower’ badges are on hand to provide extra assistance to passengers wearing a Sunflower lanyard or wristband.

T1 International eateries
Three restaurants, Little Creatures Bar & Kitchen, Jamaica Blue Café and Muffin Break are located on the ground floor and are great places to welcome or farewell friends and loved ones.
T1I also features two main dining precincts. The first is located on Level 1 before security and is open to both visitors and departing passengers. Here, you'll find The Social and Hungry Jack's.
The second dining precinct after security, offers six additional eateries. Roll'd Vietnamese, Sushi Jiro, WA Cellar and Co & Co are located near Gate 56, while Matso's Brewhouse and EastxWest are located near Gates 50 and 51.
Little Creatures Bar and Kitchen
Location: Ground Floor, departures hall
Known for: Urban dining, beer tasting
If you haven’t yet visited the Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle, you can still get your fix right here at Perth Airport T1 International. Choose from a selection of specialty draught beers and tasting paddles, and pair them with salads, croissants, burgers, fish and chips or sweet pastries. The varied menu features vegan and gluten-free options and kid-friendly dishes.
Because it’s located before security screening and features casual outdoor seating, Little Creatures is an ideal spot to relax with friends and family before you say goodbye.
Jamaica Blue
Location: Ground Floor, arrivals hall
Known for: Excellent coffee, food, great service
Great coffee and fresh, flavourful food is what you can expect at Jamaica Blue. This much-loved cafe has its roots in Miranda, New South Wales. However, it draws inspiration from the iconic Jamaica Blue Mountains in Jamaica, famous for producing some of the finest coffee on the planet!
Grab a snack or order a light meal at your leisure, with a selection of delicious options, including wraps, pasta, salads, frittatas and bagels. Little travellers can find favourites like chicken nuggets, eggs on toast and classic mini cheeseburgers to keep them fuelled and energised.
Jamaica Blue’s convenient location in the arrivals hall and its nifty play space for kids also make it the perfect spot for those visiting the airport to share a meal with their loved ones before take-off or after touchdown.
Hungry Jack’s
Location: First Floor, before security
Known for: Flame-grilled burgers and fast food
If you need a quick and satisfying snack or meal, Hungry Jack’s is the place to go. Order crowd-pleasers like the flame-grilled Whopper, a classic cheeseburger or a grilled chicken burger—all with a hearty side of fries to accompany your meal. The breakfast lineup includes everything from warm toasties and egg muffins to pancakes and a strong cup of coffee.
Hungry Jack’s is fast dining made easy with a list of Aussie favourites on the menu. Drop in to keep your travel day moving smoothly, no matter how early in the morning or late at night.
The.Social
Location: First Floor, before security
Known for: Plated Restaurant Meals, Cocktails
From hearty breakfasts to share plates and satisfying mains, there’s something for every appetite. Start your day with smashed avocado, eggs benedict, or a big breakfast; graze on arancini, calamari bites, and jalapeño poppers; or enjoy classics like beer-battered fish and chips, angus beef burgers, and chicken parmi. Fresh salads, vegetarian options and pizzas round out the menu, complemented by a drinks list that champions local producers.
More than just a dining spot, The.Social is a community-inspired space where travellers and visitors can connect, relax, and enjoy great food, drinks, and atmosphere - whether you’re arriving, departing, or simply dropping by.
East x West
Location: First Floor, after security
Known for: Contemporary bar, Asian food, Hudsons coffee
Closest Gates: 50 and 51
Japan’s iconic izakaya meets Australia’s laid-back bar scene at East x West, the only place in Australia to enjoy Sapporo Premium Black served fresh on tap! Whether you’re after a quick bite or just taking a moment to unwind, choose from Asian-inspired snacks and local favourites, including dim sum, pork belly bites and popcorn chicken. Wash it down with a wide selection of beers from around the world.

Co & Co: Coffee & Cocktails
Location: First Floor, after security
Known for: Great cocktails, coffee and runway views
Closest Gates: 56
With views of the runway and Perth Hills, Co & Co is one of Terminal 1 International's most scenic spots. The space offers a relaxed setting to watch aircraft come and go, making it the perfect place to pause and unwind before your flight.

Kick back and enjoy the laid-back Broome vibes at Matso’s Brewhouse, where tropical flavours meet refreshing craft brews.
Matso’s Brewhouse brings a taste of Broome to Perth Airport, serving up tropical-inspired brews and classic pub favourites in a relaxed setting before your next journey.

Locations: First Floor, before passport control, and Second Floor, after security
